Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival

The International Buskers and Comedy Festival involves more than 120 shows in 15 different venues over nine days. Shows include family entertainment in the streets of Coffs Harbour and in the surrounding villages including Sawtell and Woolgoolga, evening shows in the North Coast Botanic Gardens and adult shows in local pubs and clubs. Entertainment includes artists from across the globe, including a strong Australian and local contingent, in Australia’s largest gathering of professional buskers.

2010 Coffs Harbour Lillipilli Art and Craft Exhibition

The Woolgoolga Art Group Inc (WAG), a small local volunteer art group with its own working gallery, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Coffs Harbour Lillipilli Art and Craft Exhibition during the coming April school holidays. Some 23 art and craft categories will be on show, including an extensive youth section, and well over 400 works will be on display during the exhibition. Artists are limited to one entry per section but can enter multiple categories. Each work is to have been completed within the last year, and not have won a prize at any other exhibition.

The Lillipilli Exhibition carries prize money of $13,000, with prizes to winners and runners-up. Local, intrastate and interstate artists will all be represented. Visiting this exhibition makes an ideal family outing during school holidays. Visitors can vote on the People's Choice award, the winner will be announced on closing day.

Small Farms and Sustainable Living Expo

The Coffs Harbour Small Farms and Sustainable Living Expo is an annual event showcasing all aspects of sustainable living and an array of small farm products and services.

The Expo aims to promote and support the change toward sustainable living by increasing awareness and enthusiasm for environmentally sustainable ideas, products and services, emphasising those which are practical for and available to individuals and businesses.

The Expo will provide a regular forum for businesses to showcase innovative farm and environmentally sustainable housing design and products clearly demonstrating that there is a market for energy efficient technologies, design and a requirement for small farms within communities.

The Expo will feature a large range of products, services, and information, along with activities on a variety of sustainability and green living topics. Expo attractions will include talks, displays, food, entertainment, demonstrations, interactive product displays, artworks, exhibits, designs, multimedia and activities for children.
